The Reshade and SweetFX custom setting v1.9.5 provides improved color, contrast, and a more realistic color temperature. It aims to enhance graphics without increasing brightness and glow, offering compatibility with various games and graphics mods.
To achieve the best results in the game, it is recommended to avoid modifying the default brightness and contrast of your monitor. Playing in Full HD (1920X1080) or higher resolution and using the recommended graphics settings is advised.
The features of this version (v1.9.5) include vivid colors, better contrast, increased sharpness and focus, and realistic color temperature.
Recent adjustments and improvements have been made in DPX, resulting in better color contrast. Please make sure to use the modified file DPX.h (SweetFX v2.0) for the intended visual effect by replacing the existing file.
The file path for the modified file is SweetFXShadersDPX.h.
In order to optimize the game, specific adjustments are required to be made in the settings:
- – Turn off Anti-Aliasing (MLAA)
- – Enable High Dynamic Range
- – Disable Depth of Field (DOF)
- – Enable Rays of Sunshine
- – Turn off Color Correction
- – Set Anisotropic Filtering to maximum
For the best visual experience, it is recommended to play the game in the highest graphic quality setting, along with 400% scaling and Full HD resolution.
Gamma adjustment can be made in the Config.cfg file located in Documents/American Truck Simulator/config.cfg and Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/config.cfg. Set the value of “uset r_gamma” to “1”. It is important to exit the game before making any modifications to the config.cfg file.
