Dalton and Elliot Hwy Extreme V1.5 New ATS
The map is a standalone map on a 1:1 scale. Instead of being an addon, it is its own map due to the upcoming rescale, which could cause complications. The experience has been increased to match the size of the map, but the pay remains the same.
This map is not for the faint of heart. It will take you 20 minutes to travel from Fairbanks to Fox, and a whopping 3 1/2 hours to reach Yukon River Camp. Even just getting to the Dalton Highway from Fairbanks alone will take around 2 hours. Prepare yourself for jaw-dropping hills and corners that will surely wake you up. Every single node on the map has been accurately mapped using Google Earth and Google Maps Find Altitude to ensure proper elevations.
Unlike the popular demand for an Ice Road version, this map is a summer map. If SCS introduces a realistic snow system and physics, I may consider working on a winter version. Until then, enjoy the summer roads and avoid watching your trailer slide off a cliff on a snowy corner.
As this map is a work in progress, there may be a few areas around Fairbanks that are not yet complete. I have blocked off some roads and will fix any eyesores and holes that I come across.
Map Includes:
– Alaska State Troopers and Fairbanks Police Cars
– Custom trailer skins for select companies
– Carlile T680 and W900 Skins for player and AI trucks
(Be cautious of your speed on the Elliot and Dalton Highways, as the police and state troopers may surprise you around the next corner.)
