Here is the improved version of Kriechbaum’s engine sounds, combined with Alexey’s other game sounds such as AI and environmental effects. I have made adjustments to the volume, pitch, and frequency of the engine sounds to suit my preferences. Additionally, I have enhanced the cabin stick sounds, used high-quality air brake sounds, modified some jake brakes to increase their volume, and added a few new airhorn sounds.

This mod consists of two files. Please ensure that the Improved Environment Sound file is placed above sound_1.4 in your mods list. I still consider this work in progress because Kriechbaum continues to add new engines to his collection. The mod has been tested and appears to work fine with all the default trucks!
NOTE: This mod may not be compatible with other sound mods or truck mods that have their own custom sounds!
