Introducing the Real Company Box Trailers V2.4 Trailer, a mod that enhances your American Truck Simulator experience by replacing the default box trailer skins. With this mod, you get access to 69 realistic trucking company liveries, each extensively researched and accurately represented. The mod also includes small details such as warning decals, trailer numbers, and manufacturer decals for a more authentic feel.
One of the highlights of this mod is the upscaled textures, which have been enhanced to 2048×2048 resolution. This ensures higher detail and eliminates any texture stretching. Additionally, the mod adds extra cargo to the appropriate trailers and integrates all trailers into AI traffic, making your virtual roads more realistic.
Compatibility is not an issue, as this mod is fully compatible with ATS 1.6, including Advanced Trailer Coupling. In the latest update (V2.4), we have made sure to optimize the mod for ATS 1.6, ensuring a seamless experience for all users.
In this update, we have also made some exciting additions to the mod. For example, we have updated UPS to UPS Freight (28′ Dry Van) and added new cargo options such as car parts, electronic components, colors, gypsum, sawdust panels, and silica to the 28′ dry van trailer. Furthermore, we have introduced new companies like Chemso, Coastline, Plaster, Voltison, XPO Logistics, Central Freight Lines, ABF Freight, and R+L Carriers to the 28′ dry van. In addition, we have expanded the 53′ dry van’s cargo options to include dynamite, fireworks, nitrocellulose, and potassium. We have also included ADR/Hazmat variants for the 53′ dry van and introduced AAT Carriers, Ryder, Tri State Motor Transit, and JB Hunt DCS as new companies.
It is important to note that there are a few known issues. Firstly, due to the new paint job system introduced in ATS 1.4, the rear of the 20/53 ft. Dry Van and 40/53 ft. Reefer 3000R trailers may have the same texture. Secondly, the decal placements on the 53 ft. Reefer 3000R trailer may not be identical to the real trailer due to mapping limitations. Lastly, there are several plain skins included in the mod, which may be replaced with other companies in future updates.
Installing the mod is a straightforward process. Simply remove any previous versions of the mod, copy the “Real_Company_Box_Trailers_andrei383.scs” file into your ATS mod folder, activate the mod in the ATS mod manager, and increase its priority to ensure compatibility with other trailer mods.
