The IWR6 TO mod for ATS brings changes to the weather conditions. The desert weather now has an increased clear-sky probability. Additionally, there are some added features such as American-standard headlight light spots for trucks and traffic, as well as reworked traffic and streetlamp lights.
While I believe this mod will be beneficial, I must admit that I may not have gone about porting it in the correct manner. I duplicated the ‘default’ and renamed it as ‘desert,’ and also made changes to the sun_profiles by appending a ‘d.’ Although this approach may seem amateurish, it worked well with the moon, clouds, and other elements without any errors in the log. There were only a few warnings, such as ignoring an obsolete attribute ‘sun_dir’ of unit. I will upload a video showcasing nearly 24 hours of gameplay, with 4 hours courtesy of some highway joint.
This mod has been tested and is compatible with version 1.1.1.1 of ATS.
